Nomar Traded to the Cubs

The Boston Red Sox throw in the towel this year and trade star shortstop Nomar Garciaparra to the Chicago Cubs in a blockbuster, four-team deal Saturday. So they’ve basically conceeded the AL East to the Yankees with 2 months to go despite being only 8 games behind.
